Fresh from the shower about 8 a.m. today I heard that there was a bear in Post Falls, at White Pine Park just a few blocks from my house. So with wet hair I dashed over with my camera to see the drama of the capture unfold on a beautiful sunny morning. Kudos to Idaho Fish & Game, Post Falls Police Department and Kootenai County Fire & Rescue for safely removing the bear from the tree and returning him to the forest. Photos HERE with captions.

Mr. Bear Comes to Town

We just have deer in our neighborhood. I think they're scouting our garden, I've seen droppings in the front yard the last 2 mows.
