The city park in Rathdrum is reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting. There's a gazebo, playground, picnic tables and generations-old shade trees. A beautiful little creek runs right through the center. On Saturday it was free fishing day in Idaho - no license required - so families were scattered along the banks with fishing poles. Kids swam, dogs fetched sticks and a wedding took place along with picnics and birthday parties. It was a perfect day at the creek in the park in Small Town, USA.
