Soda Pop Crock Pot Cake

I received this recipe from my friend, Bob Frazey, who certainly knows his way around the kitchen. Haven't tried it yet but plan to and since there's no heating up the kitchen with a hot oven, sounds like a good summer recipe. I'll add this to my collection of favorite quirky recipes like cake mix cookies and omelette in a bag. Let me know if you try the crock pot cake. 2. I just tried it and it worked! I made gingerbread cake mix and ginger ale. Delicious.
I did have to cook it a half hour longer.
