Mystery solved ...

If you heard cannon booms and saw spectacular fireworks at the stroke of 10 p.m. on Saturday night over Lake Coeur d'Alene, here's the scoop. A cannon, which belongs to Sheriff Rocky Watson, was shot off shortly after 6 p.m., right about the time that John Magnuson and Holly Houston sealed their "I dos" with a kiss at their lake home near Kidd Island. A fireworks show was the finale` of the reception. Undisputedly the social event of the season, it will be tough to top for future anniversary celebrations for the couple. Much happiness to Mr. and Mrs. Magnuson!
