Don't have details but when we showed up for an 11:30 a.m. meeting of the North Idaho film group, KNIFVES, fire crews were cleaning up and the Hot Rod Cafe was closed for business. I'll give more details later this evening if I can find out more. Hoping the damage is not extensive, owner Rob Elder is a good guy.
UPDATE: the fire was confined to a restroom and the Hot Rod Cafe is back in business!

I called the Hot Rod this afternoon, it was a very small fire in the bathroom, everything is ok, they are open for business!!
