Debbie Capaul Copstead's valiant three-year battle with ALS ended on Mother's Day. I will carry in my mind the picture of Debbie and her fellow "Killer Bee" Copsteads sitting on the grass on a sunny summer day, bursting with pride as Chris competed in the 2007 Ironman. I think Debbie's brave race with ALS at the very least qualifies her for Ironwoman honors. Keep the Copsteads in your prayers in the coming days.
Services will be Friday, May 15 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene. Obituary here.
