Even in this uncertain economy, the 2009 Festival of Trees Gala to benefit Kootenai Health Cancer Center exceeded all expectations. My friend, Jim Morrison of Post Falls, was the undisputed man of the hour. In 2004 he was given just six months to live after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
