Members of the Pappy Boyington Detachment of the Marine Corps League celebrated the 234th birthday of the Corps at their annual ball at the Coeur d'Alene Resort on November 10.
Following the traditional cutting of the birthday cake by saber, the oldest and youngest Marine present are served first. This year's honorees were Mike Bernardino, 87 and Justin Peck, 26.
