  1. Veterans:
Everyone is invited to attend Winton Elementary School's "Pearl Harbor Assembly at 0930 this Tuesday, December 8th. This is an outstanding program they host each year and well worth attending. There will also be coffee, cake and cookies afterwards.

Last year they had three young girls in Army uniform singing songs of that era, all of us tapping our feet and grinning from ear to ear. I imagine this year will be just as good or better.

Do plan to be there if at all possible. They do their very best to honor veterans and especially those who were in Pearl Harbor on that infamous date. Wear your ball cap or some other item reflecting your service. You will really enjoy the visit, see you there.
