Dozens of off-duty law enforcement and fire/rescue personnel spent the morning shopping with local children at WalMart.
All of the gifts were wrapped by volunteers at the Greyhound Park while the children enjoyed lunch, movies and a visit with Santa. The annual event is funded by generous financial contributions from the community. Each child will also receive a turkey and all of the fixings for Christmas dinner. Coeur d'Alene Press story
