According to the offical 2010 race program some "averages" about the competitors are: Age- 37, Gender- men: 70%, women: 30%, Education- post secondary: 95%, Annual income- $161,000.
In Coeur d'Alene this year the three countries most represented - USA, Canada, Mexico. The highest percentage of athletes are teachers, managers, physicians, and engineers. The youngest competitor this year is Coeur d'Alene's Ashley Davis, 18 and Roger Daniels, 74, from Bend, Oregon, is the oldest.
