Opportunities!

National Public Lands Day (Saturday, Sept. 26) is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy. In 2008, 120,000 volunteers built trails and bridges, removed trash and invasive plants, and planted over 1.6 million trees. Join us for the 16th annual National Public Lands Day!
If you're looking for local volunteer opportunities go to http://serve.gov/. Put in your zip code and a host of opportunities pop up. In the Coeur d'Alene area you'll see the CASA Program, SNR, Reader and Book Drive, Community Class Instructors and more!
