Gary Good Guy

I've known Gary Ingram since I was a teenager in the 1960s. He's spent a lifetime involved in our community as a tireless advocate of open government. On Saturday Gary will deservedly receive the Idaho Newspaper Foundation's 11th Annual Max Dalton Open Government Award. Gary served in Idaho's House of Representatives from 1972-80 and is the author of the state's Open Meeting Law. The Max Dalton award recognizes an "outspoken advocate of openness in either public records or public meetings on the state or local level." Sounds like Gary, that's for sure. Congratulations old friend!

  1. This really is one of the good guys, and those of us who rejoice in being ink-stained wretches appreciate all Gary's hard work on this issue over the years.

  2. It is nice to see someone get recougnition for something they have had such passion for.

  3. Many, many congratulations and best of wishes, Gary!
